Director Mark Obenhaus’ feature documentary is the story of the dangerous sport of big-mountain skiing. It features many of the sport’s greatest athletes, including the late Doug Coombs, considered by many to be the greatest big-mountain skier of them all.

The film has grossed just over $250,000 in 16 weeks in the US, where it is distributed by Sony Pictures Classics.

In a statement to the press, Metrodome CEO Peter Urie praised the film for it’s “wonderful cinematography, death defying real life action and an unflinching look into why extreme sports athletes risk their lives in search of adventure.”

The deal was negotiated between Jamie Carmichael for ContentFilm International and, for Metrodome, by CEO Peter Urie, home entertainment general manager Tom Stewart and business affairs manager Kate Edwards.
