LONDON: ContentFilm International has acquired the rights to 20 documentary titles from director Nick Broomfield, including Kurt and Courtney and two films on the serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
The collection, which is being showcased in Berlin by ContentFilm, includes Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer and Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer; two films on white South African supremacist Eugene Terre Blanche (His Big White Self and The Leader, His Driver and The Driver’s Wife); the hip-hop doc Biggie And Tupac; as well as Fetishes, Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam, Tracking Down Maggie and others. Broomfield recently received critical raves for the war doc Battle for Haditha.
“I am so pleased to work with Content, who are so knowledgeable about new digital markets as well as the traditional ones,” said Broomfield. “I very much look forward to working with them.”
