ContentFilm International has acquired worldwide sales rights to Award-winning writer-director Tom DiCillo’s riveting film WHEN YOU’RE STRANGE. This feature documentary about the iconic rock band The Doors tells the band’s story through vintage footage, much of it previously unseen.
WHEN YOU’RE STANGE uncovers historic, rare footage from the illustrious rock quartet and provides new insight into the revolutionary impact of their music and legacy.
ContentFilm is selling the film at the market which is screening today (7 Feb) in Panorama at 17.00 at the CineStar 7. A Q&A with Tom DiCillo, producer Dick Wolf and John Densmore of The Doors will follow the screening.
Directed by Tom DiCillo (Delirious, Living in Oblivion), the biopic is produced by Peter Jankowski (Law and Order, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit), John Beug (Eric Clapton and Friends in Concert, Cream: Royal Albert Hall), Dick Wolf (Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Law and Order) and Jeff Jampol (manager of The Doors).
