Foster will play a young Army officer who is forced to work with a partner he can’t stand in the least desirable job in the military. His life becomes even more complicated when he falls in love with a soldier’s widow. Alessandro Camon co-wrote the script.
The movie is set to begin shooting in April.
Mark Gordon (“10,000 B.C.”) and Lawrence Inglee will produce for the Mark Gordon Co. along with Zach Miller and Ben Goldhirsh of Reason Pictures (“Son of Rambow”).
Bahrain-based Sherzade Film Development will provide financing for the film. Shaun Redick and Nate Bolotin of the Collective teamed with the Mark Gordon Co. to help package the movie and negotiate the financing and are executive producing. The Collective is repping the North American distribution rights.
Foster, who received strong praise for his work in “3:10 to Yuma,” is repped by Endeavor and Ken Jacobson Management Group.
Moverman, who co-wrote “I’m Not There,” is represented by WMA and New York Office.
