ContentFilm has sold EXTRACT, Mike Judge’s (‘Office Space’, ‘Idiocracy’, ‘Beavis and Butthead’) laugh out loud comedy, to Paramount in the UK.
EXTRACT stars Jason Bateman (‘Hancock’, ‘Juno’, ‘The Break-up’), Mila Kunis (‘Max Payne’, ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshal’), Ben Affleck (‘State of Play’, ‘Armageddon’, ‘Hollywoodland’), Clifton Collins Jr. (‘Star Trek’, ‘Babel’, ‘Capote’), TJ Miller (‘Cloverfield’), Kristen Wiig (‘Knocked Up’, ‘Walk Hard’), Dustin Milligan (‘90210’), JK Simmons (‘Juno’, ‘Spiderman 1, 2 & 3’, ‘Burn After Reading’) and Dave Koechner (‘Anchorman’, ‘Thank You For Smoking’).
‘EXTRACT’ is the hilarious story of a factory owner (Bateman) whose world is turned upside down by an accident at work, a beautiful young con artist and a dim-witted gigolo…
Paramount plan to release the film on 26th March 2010 in the UK and Ireland.
John Altschuler (‘King of the Hill’, ‘Blades of Glory’) and Michael Rotenberg (‘Reign Over me’, Office Space’, ‘Encino Man’) produced the film with Tom Lassally (‘Stay’, ‘First Snow’, ‘Henry Poole Is Here’), Dave Krinksy (‘Blades of Glory’, ‘King of the Hill’) and Glenn Lucas executive producing.
