Synopsis A blue Volvo makes its way through the fading light one winter evening in Upstate New York. Kim (PARTICIA CLARKSON), George (JAKE WEBER) and their eight-year old son, Miles (ERIK PER SULLIVAN) friend’s country farmhouse. But a fluke accident sets off a chain of events that alters their lives forever and conjures up the ferocious spirit of Wendigo, a Native American myth made manifest in Miles’ imagination. Stylistically, the film is part thriller and part horror; thematically, a mix of The Shining and Deliverance.
Production Notes:
Wendigo was released theatrically in February 2003 in partnership with Magnolia Pictures and Microsoft, and was premiered on digital projection systems in Seattle and Denver.
