Twenty years ago, the Hansen family was ripped apart with the sudden and mysterious disappearance of eldest son Jake. On the eve of his wedding and without explanation, Jake packed his belongings and vanished, deserting his family, their farm and his fiancée. Jake’s desertion meant that younger brother Dan had to forget his own dreams and assume the responsibility of picking up the pieces and taking over the family farm. Eventually, Dan even married Maddy, the woman Jake jilted at the altar. Now, with the farm on the verge of failure, Jake has miraculously returned. But why? Is it to reclaim Maddy?
