This compelling four-hour family fantasy drama tells the tale of two extraordinary children’s dangerous quest through time where they must overcome their fears, discover their individual and collective strengths, and outwit the evil force that has imprisoned their father. Dr. Jack Murray, a world-renown physicist and his partner Hank are experimenting with time-travel when they mysteriously disappear without a trace. Several months later and after no word from Jack, his children Meg and Charles Wallace along with neighbour Calvin O’Keefe take it upon themselves to try and find him and embark on a perilous quest through space to find their missing father. Guided along on their bold journey by three celestial beings, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs. Which, the daring travelers must survive a myriad of dangers on a menacing planet called Camazotz where life is ruled by an ingenious but twisted brain that seeks to spread darkness throughout the universe, one planet at a time.

In the end, Meg discovers that only the power of love can conquer and defeat evil.
