ProSieben GmbH set to bring Primetime Emmys back to Germany
Fireworks International today announced a series of additional international sales for the 57th Primetime Emmy Awards® to be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Sunday 18th September.
Fireworks International has successfully represented the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the international distribution of rights to the Primetime Emmy Awards for three years, and this year along with the previously announced deal with Série Club France, has also secured new deals with ProSieben Germany, Carlo Entertainment for ART TV in Sri Lanka, Sigma Radio TV in Cyprus, Alpha Satellite Television Greece and Orion Cinema Network for premium Pay-TV channel Catch On* in South Korea.
In total, Fireworks has now secured multiple deals for the 57th Primetime Emmy Awards, including the return of Living TV in the UK and Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) who has acquired the Emmy Awards show for AXN Japan, Spain and Portugal and also SET Latin America. Also on board are Canal Jimmy in Italy, Hot Vision in Israel, Alhurra for the Middle East, CTC Storyfirst Russia, Fiji Television, HBO Central Europe, Mediacorp TV Singapore, Vision Plus Entertainment for UBC in Thailand and Natseven TV in Malaysia, M-Net South Africa, 365 Media for Iceland, SubTV Finland, NRK Norway, NonStop Television AB for Star! in Scandinavia, TV2 Denmark, TV3 Eire, VPL Film Distribution for Studio 23 in the Philippines, Soread for Morocco, RTVFBHI Bosnia, RTK Kosovo, Studio 1 +1 Ukraine and NTV-CNBC-E in Turkey.
