ContentFilm International is a dynamic film sales and finance company, specialising in high quality, commercial feature films. The company is based in central London.

Launched in September 2002 by Managing Director Jamie Carmichael (ex- Head of International Distribution at Icon), ContentFilm International is the film sales arm of ContentFilm Plc.

Paul Verhoeven’s Black Book, an epic WWII drama starring the beautiful Carice van Houten.

Jason Reitman’s Thank You for Smoking starring Aaron Eckhart, Katie Holmes, William H Macy, Maria Bello, Sam Elliot, Rob Lowe and Robert Duvall – screened in Toronto ’05, the controversial erotic thriller The Book of Revelation from acclaimed director Ana Kokkinos, starring Greta Scacchi.

Duncan Tucker’s Transamerica for which Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) won Best Actress at the Tribeca Film Festival ’05.

The Cannes ’05 selected in Un Certain Regard psychological thriller The King starring Gael Garcia Bernal and William Hurt – co-written by Monster’s Ball’s Milo Addica.

The wonderful family adventure Mee-Shee: The Water Giant with stunning CGI from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

The outrageously gory and hysterically funny Horror Festival hit Evil Eliens from Jake West.

The Costa Del Crime actioner The Business from The Football Factory team -released by Pathe in the UK on over 275 screens.

And Driving Lessons the touching British comedy starring Laura Linney, Julie Walters and Rupert Grint (of Harry Potter fame).

Our involvement in films can be at inception with an idea or script or selling the distribution rights of a completed film to international territories.

At ContentFilm International, we’re looking to co-finance high profile, commercial films with great artistic and theatrical ambition. We’ve been lucky enough to work with some very talented Directors and Producers and our aim is to seek out original films of quality from all over the world.
