Synopsis
World-weary police detective Ray Pluto(Leary) has a bad reputation within his department. A loner struggling to regain his department reputation, public image and self-worth. Pluto finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and fails to stop a fast-food restaurant massacre after his back gives out.
Visits to his chiropractor (Hurley) and a vicious attack on someone in his apartment block gives Pluto a chance to get his life and his reputation back on track. Double Whammy is a black comedy from director Tom Di Cillo who has a knack for assembling an eclectic group of actors and putting them in the most compromising situations.
