John Schmidt

John Schmidt is the Chief Executive Officer of ContentFilm Plc.

Mr. Schmidt has gained extensive experience in building successful entertainment and start-up companies throughout his career. He co-founded October Films in 1992 and served as its Co-President until its sale to USA 192.168.l.254 in 1999. October was one of the foremost independent film companies of the 1990s, winning two Oscars, 13 nominations and top prizes at the Cannes Film Festival on three occasions. Some of October Films’ credits include internationally acclaimed films such as “Secrets And Lies,” “The Apostle,” “Celebration,” “Lost Highway” and “Breaking The Waves.” Prior to founding October Films, Mr. Schmidt was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Miramax Films from 1989-1992 and Financial Analyst at Tri-Star Pictures from 1986-1989. Mr. Schmidt began his career as a documentary film producer after graduating from Yale University. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986. He currently lives in Riverdale, New York, with his wife, Wendy, and three children, Tom, Mike and Ali.

Geoff Webb

Geoff Webb is the Chief Financial Officer of ContentFilm Plc.

He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Australia working in their audit division. Moving to the Corporate Finance division he also qualified to become a Member of the Securities Institute of Australia. Geoff moved to the UK in 1990 and has held various accounting and consulting positions in the Jardine Matheson group of financial services companies, other UK consulting/media companies and Bankers Trust. Starting at the grass roots of ContentFilm International in 2003, he worked with ContentFilm Inc. through the original merger of ContentFilm plc and then through the acquisition of the Fireworks library. Geoff lives in London.

Jamie Carmichael

Jamie Carmichael is the Managing Director of ContentFilm International, ContentFilm Plc international film sales division.

Jamie is a seasoned veteran of the global film market; most recently, he served as Head of International Distribution for Mel Gibson and Bruce Davey’s Icon Entertainment International. While at Icon, he oversaw the international film sales and distribution for such films as “We Were Soldiers,” “What Women Want” and “An Ideal Husband.” Prior to Icon, Mr. Carmichael worked at Lumiere Pictures and Majestic Film and Television International. Jamie lives in London with his wife and their two sons.

Greg Philips

Greg Philips is the President of Fireworks International, ContentFilm Plc international TV sales division.

Greg Phillips heads up Fireworks International, which handles international distribution of the company’s television library of over 2000 hours of programs. Mr Phillips has over 25 years experience in the industry, working with companies such as EMI, CBS and MTM. Immediately prior to joining Fireworks International, he headed up Worldwide TV Distribution for Southern Star, Australia’s leading producer and distributor of television programs. Greg is based in London.
