They’re bald with prominent veins, beaked noses, and swollen joints. They clock in at a mere 15-22 pounds, and none of them break three feet in height. However at 14, 12 and 6 years old, the three are actually still children. They suffer from a rare disorder called, Progeria – a disorder that puts their bodies (but not their minds or spirits) into fast forward. The average life span? . . . 13 years.

This film is an intimate portrait of these three youngsters and their families. What kind of life is left when the future is taken away? These children have to answer this question each and every day; and answer it with their lives.
