ContentFilm International is selling worldwide rights to the violent medieval action thriller IRONCLAD directed by Jonathan English (Minotaur) from a script by English and Erick Kastel. The feature is produced by Mythic’s Rick Benattar (Shoot ‘em Up) and Andrew Curtis (Lost In La Mancha). Shooting started on 9th October.
The film began its 8 week shoot on location and at Dragon International Film Studios and is the biggest ever production to be shot entirely in Wales.
IRONCLAD is a violent action thriller that tells the true story of a motley crew of tough, battle hardened warriors, who withstood several brutal and bloody months under siege, in a desperate bid to defend their country’s freedom…
The stellar cast includes Academy Award ® nominee Paul Giamatti (Shoot ‘em Up, Sideways) as King John, James Purefoy (Rome) as Marshall and Emmy Award ® winning Brian Cox (Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, X2, Troy, Braveheart) as the rebel Baron Albany. ContentFilm International will be selling the film at the upcoming AFM in Santa Monica.
