Season I
Michael Spence doesn’t know where he is – who’s keeping him locked up – or why? All he does know is that he has to follow the baffling instructions he is receiving in order to stay alive. 

Fuelled by adrenaline and fear, Spence has to find a way out of the Cell in order to survive. With a sophisticated storyline split into two separate strands, the first tracks Spence trying to escape from the lawless, back-street prison where he is being held captive. The second strand sees Spence arrive in Bogota to work for his old friend David, staging a one-night only event called ‘The Prize’, where a collection of the world’s nastiest and most deadly street fighters will flock to South America in an underground and illegal world championship. Seduced by a new life and the allure of being his friend’s right hand man, Spence gets in over his head with a shady social circle, a woman he falls in love with and a lifestyle he can’t keep up with. 

Cell gives the viewer the choice of how to engage with the story threads, how much they want to know and when they choose to discover it. Each electrifying episode of Cell will leave you wanting more.

Season II
Season two of Cell tells the story of how Spence and David became friends after a chance meeting in Eastern Europe, as well as explaining how this friendship deteriorated to such an extent that David imprisoned Spence in a huge prison ship, along with Lucy.

We will learn the true purpose of the prison ship, the scale of David’s plan, and the real reason Spence followed David to Columbia in the first place.

The season two finale picks up where season one ended. After escaping from the confines of the ship, Spence pursues David across the globe, from Columbia to the Eastern shore of Russia, in a final attempt to save Lucy and set them both free…
