Fireworks International Teams With Genesis Intl. Television & Film To Sell 22 One-Hour Episodes Of Hit Drama ‘Heartland’ In U.S.

Fireworks International has teamed with Genesis International Television & Film to sell Heartland, a weekly top-rated family drama based on a series of books, on stations covering more than 94% of the U.S. for the 2010-11 season. The CBS, Tribune, Sinclair, Hearst, Lin, Meredith, Nexstar and Belo station groups are among the major broadcasters acquiring the series, which will appear mostly in weekend primetime slots starting this fall, announced Fireworks International President Greg Phillips and Genesis President Wayne Lepoff.

Spike TV’s Guys Choice 2010 Premieres Globally Through Fireworks International

ContentFilm catches Mayfield's ‘THE DOG SQUAD: 3D’

ContentFilm International has acquired worldwide rights to the live action, CGI heavy, THE DOG SQUAD: 3D to be directed by Les Mayfield (‘Flubber’, ‘Blue Streak’, ‘Miracle on 34th Street’, ‘Encino Man’). The brilliantly funny and touching original script is penned by Steve Carpenter. Voice-over and cast will be announced in the coming weeks. Principal photography is due to start in late summer 2010 in Canada.

Los Angeles - ContentFilm International has acquired worldwide rights (excluding the UK and Scandinavia) to the WW2 action film, AGE OF HEROES which stars Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, Flight Plan, Hitcher), Danny Dyer (The Football Factory, The Business, Dead Man Running) and Rosie Fellner (Boogie Woogie, The Crew). The film is co-written by Ed Scates and Adrian Vitoria and directed by Adrian Vitoria (Hit Girls). More cast will be announced soon.
